The Arpedio Org Chart gives you the ability to visualize and work with client organizational charts.
It uses the Salesforce standard "reports to" field in order to populate and build the org chart. When contacts are dragged and dropped in the org chart this field updates automatically. If the "reports to field" is manually changed on the contact this will be reflected in the org chart.
If you have contact on the account but they do not have the "reports to" field populated, these will be listed on the right hand side in the ledger.
You can search on contact name or any title to narrow down your search. In order to populate the org chart you need at least two contacts related to each other. By clicking on one or more contact they will appear in the screen and you can drag and drop according. Drag a contact to another contact for it to appear beneath in the hierarchy.
Once this is done the "reports to" field gets automatically updated and a green checkbox will appear on the right hand ledger to indicate these are a part of the current org chart structure.
Once you have populate your org chart you can always search for and click on any given contact and you will automatically get zoomed into that contact wherever it is in the tree structure.
By clicking on the circle silhouette person you are able to attach a photo to the contact in the org chart.
If you feel like your tree is too big or you want to collapse part of your org chart you can hover over a contact and use the small indication arrows. It can collapse upwards, downwards or to the sides.
A wide gray clickable arrow indicates that there are more contacts to expand if needed.
If you want to remove a contact from the org chart you can press the circular black X on the top right corner. If the contact has no subordinates it will be removed. If the contact has subordinates you will get three options on what to do with its subordinates.
Choose which action fits best and press accept.
On the contact card the following information is displayed:
1. The contact name
2. The contact title
3. The contact owner
4. The Stakeholder type from the Arpedio Matrix
5. The first four attributes from the Arpedio Matrix
The org chart itself has the following information and functionalities:
1. The Arpedio Matrix score - which brings you to the Arpedio Matrix.
2. The option to create a new contact.
3. The option to go to full screen mode.
4. The zoom in/out buttons - can also use the scroll on the mouse.
5. The show full org chart button - also expand all collapsed contacts.
6. The hide ledger button
7. The search bar.
If you install the org chart and already use the "reports to fields" all org charts will be auto-populated.
We hope you enjoy!
